“Bread is the most fundamentally satisfying of all foods; and good bread with fresh butter, the greatest of feasts!” – James Beard
Spooky October Cookie Decorating
Description
There's something a little magical about turning a plain sugar cookie into a tiny piece of edible art, and by the end of this class, you'll have six of them to prove it.
Led by Valerie, formerly of Maple Grove Tea Room at Kennedy House, this hands-on session covers the fundamentals of royal icing decorating: how to mix icing to the right consistency, tint it to match your theme, and load (and actually hold) a piping bag with confidence. We'll cover outlining, flooding, and wet-on-wet detail work - real techniques, not just pretty cookies.
You'll decorate and take home 6 themed cookies, along with recipes, a special tool and practical tips so you can keep the icing bag moving at home.
This is a beginner-friendly class, whether you're picking up a piping bag for the first time or just want a refresher. Come on your own, with family or friends or with a date. This is a class for every kind of cookie lover.
Add on idea - Pampered Chef Sheet Pan ($35).
