Being a vegetarian is more than just eating your veggies. Come learn how to eat healthy and balanced as a vegetarian or vegan, identify good sources of protein and fat and discuss how not to be a hyper consumer of carbohydrates. Learn the basics of cooking and making wholesome, tasty main dishes, sides and salads. We will highlight the use of legumes and whole grains, use seasonal vegetables and discuss how not to be a hyper consumer of simple carbohydrates. Meatless Monday – be prepared!
