Fish is an under-celebrated protein, especially in land-locked Winnipeg, but there’s so much untapped potential just waiting for your culinary skills to uncover. In this cooking class you will learn everything you need to know to create fish-based dishes with confidence. From learning how to clean your fish, carve and serve a whole fish, this class is foundational in providing real world skills that you can use at home.
We will learn how to clean, dress and cook a whole fish and use different cooking techniques (stew, bake, fry, etc). We will work with Sea Bass, pickerel, Salted Cod and Stickleback
