Kids in the Kitchen
Give your children the gift of cooking. This series mirrors the aims of the adult program with a kid-friendly approach. We will focus on knife skills; making soups and sauces from scratch; exploring different cooking techniques with vegetables and proteins, and healthy meal choices. If your child enjoys being creative in the kitchen this is the class for them. Suitable for ages 9 – 12 years old. Individual classes may also be taken from the series.

Baking Series for Youth
Give your children the gift of baking. This series will give your child the skills to produce mouthwatering baked goods for the whole family. Suitable for 13 years old and over. Individual classes may also be taken from the series.

Summer Teens-only Art of Baking Session:
In a fun, low teacher-student ratio and creative environment your avid baker will explore the world of baking as a fine art form. We will prepare and create dough for different applications (breads, sweet and savory dough and pastry), learn to make mouth-watering fillings and toppings, use a variety of techniques (baking, boiling, brulee, stove-top cooking, etc) and explore the art of presentation and garnish.
Dates: August 23, 24 and 25
Time: 9:00 a.m – 3:00 p.m.
