Parisian Macarons, Italian Amaretti and Coconut Macaroons are all related; their origins can be traced back to the 1300’s and Marzipan. All delicious and slightly different from one another, but all 100% gluten free. Made up of ground almonds, sugar and egg whites, these bite-sized treats have become very popular. This class will teach you how to prepare the mixture, flavour, pipe, bake and layer up these sweet treats. All ingredients, equipment, aprons and packaging will be provided. Each student will go home with a sampling of the items made.
