Healthy Lifestyle series – Vegetarian / Vegan Cooking




We all know that we should get more veggies into our diet, but it’s hard to know where to start.

Did you know that 30% of the food that Canadians throw away is vegetables? This means that we have good intentions, but we don’t get around to actually using them.

Cooking plant-based meals can be fun and delicious.  Let our experienced vegan-based Chef show you how to create delicious nutrient-dense vegetarian and vegan meals. We will explore some new tasty staples to fill your dinner plate.  We will create a full meal together and of course sample everything!

The handouts included in this class will include recipes and serve as a reminder of meat-free proteins that can be added to meals in your daily cooking.
