Description
New World Wines with Old World Roots
The Belasco family are from a long-standing tradition of distillery and wine production going back to 1831 in Navarra, Spain. Fast forward to the 1990s, Juan Ignacio Belasco explored Argentina for more than a decade in search for exceptional vineyards to create equally exceptional Malbec wines.
In 2003 Juan, along with his son, Mikel, purchased 222 acres of 100-year-old Malbec vines (planted in 1910,1920 &1938) in the Lujan de Cuyo of Mendoza. They began construction of Belasco de Baquedano Winery and produced their first vintage in 2008.
We are honored to present this special dinner and wine tasting event where you will have a chance to meet Mikel Belasco, in person. The menu will include traditional Argentinian and Brazilian flavours. If you like Argentinian wines, this is an evening not to be missed! Book early as space is limited.
